Arsene Wenger has said that the bust-up between Gabriel and Lucas Perez at the end of the match between Arsenal and West Brom is “already forgotten”.
There was a heated exchange between the pair at the full-time whistle as the Gunners players celebrated their narrow 1-0 victory over the Baggies.
Gabriel was understood to be frustrated at the forward’s refusal to track back in the closing minutes of the match as Wenger’s side tried to hold out for the win.
Phew! What a hard match today. ⚽ Happy we found back to winning ways & unboxed those 3 important points.👍😉 #YaGunnersYa #BetterLateThanNever pic.twitter.com/i2AC4gGIud

In the aftermath, Wenger insisted it has already been sorted out between the pair, who are “good friends” off the pitch.
“I don’t know what it is about, I didn’t see it as well,” said Wenger.
“But they have the South American temper, you know and that can sometimes happen.
“I don’t think that anything bad happened. They are two good friends, two very close to each other so that is already forgotten now.”
