Klopp: If I was Coutinho I’d just shoot the f***ing ball

Jurgen Klopp says that he would “just shoot the f***ing ball around in the garden” if he had the talent of Philippe Coutinho.
Brazilian Coutinho has been in fine form for Liverpool this season, scoring five goals and assisting a further five for the current second-placed side.
He has been sidelined in recent weeks through injury however, his absence coinciding with Liverpool’s worst run of a defeat to Bournemouth and a draw with West Ham.
In an exclusive interview with the Liverpool Echo, manager Klopp poured praise on his star.
“In 2016 he has made the next step for sure,” he said. “He has been very consistent. I think our style of play fits really well with him.
“We had a few talks about it,” the German added, discussing Coutinho’s shooting. “Of course with Phil’s skills, everyone wants to give him the ball and wait for something special to happen.
“Then you think ‘oh no, don’t shoot again’. But if I could shoot like he could shoot then I would try it all the time.
“I’d get up in the morning and just shoot the f***ing ball around in the garden or something. It’s outstanding how good he is.”
