Wenger discusses Sanchez ‘tantrum’ after draw

Arsene Wenger dismissed concerns that Alexis Sanchez’s reaction to the 3-3 draw with Bournemouth suggested he is unhappy at the club.
The Chilean argued with Aaron Ramsey during the game, threw his gloves down in anger at the final whistle and reportedly refused to speak to his teammates after the match.
We asked whether the ‘character’ Arsenal showed to get back to 3-3 would be enough to keep Sanchez at a club now in fifth.
“What is surprising? We want to win the games, if you don’t you’re not happy. That is normal,” said Wenger ahead of the weekend’s clash with Preston in the FA Cup that will see Sanchez rested.
“Without passion you do not come back when you are at 70 mins and 3-0 down.
“It is exceptional and you need a special response.
“We are all frustrated. Of course he (Sanchez) is fine.”
