Scotland Under-21 midfielder Adam King has signed a new contract which will keep him at Swansea City until the summer of 2019.
The 20-year-old former Hearts midfielder, whose contract had been due to expire at the end of the 2016-17 campaign, impressed in the club's development squad last season.
"I am delighted the club have shown faith in me again by offering me another deal," King said.
"It's a big thing for me. To kick on again in the next few years is going to be difficult, but I believe I can do it.
"Last season was a good one for me. I was out on loan and then after coming back I had a bit of experience training with the first team and getting to work with the new manager.
"Hopefully I can spend some more time with the first team next season and I'll see where that takes me."
King came to the Liberty Stadium as an 18-year-old in January 2014, having played three senior games for Hearts.
He has made just one first-team appearance to date for Swansea, in the FA Cup victory at Tranmere in January 2015, but as well as playing for the club's development squad, he thrived during a loan spell at Crewe Alexandra, scoring five goals in 26 appearances.
"It has been absolutely brilliant from the minute I walked through the door, at the football club and the city in general," King added.
"It's the perfect place for me and my style of play. I feel I have improved as a player and as a person as well."
