With the transfer window drawing to a close, we take a look at the ways in which Leicester City still need to strengthen.

The defending Premier League champions have made a few additions over the summer, most notably Ahmed Musa and Nampalys Mendy, but have also seen N'Golo Kante leave for Chelsea.

After a defeat, a draw and a win from their first three matches of the campaign, what else do they need?

Ins

Ron-Robert Zieler (Hannover 96, £2.6m), Luis Hernandez (Sporting Gijon, free), Raul Uche Rubio (Rayo Vallecano, undisclosed), Nampalys Mendy (Nice, £13m), Ahmed Musa (CSKA Moscow, undisclosed), Bartosz Kapustka (Cracovia, undisclosed)

Major Outs

N'Golo Kante (Chelsea, £32m), Andrej Kramaric (Hoffenheim, £7.6m), Paul Konchesky (released), Mark Schwarzer (released)

What they need...

This summer has not so much been about who Leicester have signed, but who they have managed to keep. Although Kante has left for Chelsea, both Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez have committed their futures to the club by penning new deals.

Danny Drinkwater has also signed a new contract.

With the Foxes competing in the Champions League for the first time this season, squad depth could be crucial. With that in mind, Claudio Ranieri might look for cover in defence and midfield, particularly with the versatile Jeff Schlupp potentially heading for the exit.

Who are the targets?

Burnley defender Michael Keane says he was flattered by reported interest from Leicester, but is happy at Turf Moor. It has been reported that the Foxes could now turn their attentions to Dynamo Kiev centre-back Aleksandar Dragovic.

Sky in Italy have suggested the Foxes are interested in Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes, but the Serie A side are apparently not keen to sell. Wolfsburg forward Bas Dost is also a reported target.

What has Ranieri said?

"In this moment, the market is not closed. I don't tell you yes, we are looking, but if something good for us happens, okay, why not? But I am happy with this squad.

I am happy with this squad.

Claudio Ranieri

"Maybe something could happen during this final market if we had the opportunity to improve our squad, but at the moment we are okay."

What's the pundit view?

Matt Le Tissier: "It's not been a particularly good start so perhaps they'll be considering another deal. They did so well last season that it's difficult but one thing they didn't have last season was injuries, with most players playing 30 plus games.

Maybe some more depth in defence is needed.

Matt Le Tissier

"Musa looks a good addition and Claudio Ranieri will be reasonably happy with his business. Luis Hernandez obviously didn't have the best game and Wes Morgan is getting on so maybe some more depth in defence is needed."

What's your view?
