Januzaj still fits into my plans at United – Mourinho

Jose Mourinho has revealed that Adnan Januzaj is still in his plans for the future at Manchester United despite agreeing to loan the midfielder to Premier League side Sunderland.
Januzaj’s signing follows hot on the heels of the Black Cats double swoop for Red Devils duo Donald Love and Paddy McNair and the Belgium international will be greeted with another familiar face at the Stadium of Light as he joins up with former United boss David Moyes.
Although reports today indicated that Januzaj’s “relaxed” attitude towards pre-season training had cost him his place in the side, Mourinho insists that the 21-year-old is very much still part of his plans moving forward.
“He fits in my plans, that’s why he is on loan in the PL, if he doesn’t fit then we don’t care we send him to Dortmund,” Mourinho told reporters.
“We think he is a talented player but to be in the same squad as our players would mean not many matches.
“We cannot be selfish, we have to think about the players and he is in the right place with a manager that likes him.
“We want him back.”
